A Small Pinprick, A Big Sign of Solidarity
Blood Donation Campaign at SCHÖLLY

For the fourth time, SCHÖLLY opened its basement for the blood donation campaign. This year, there was more movement than ever. Not only did the preparatory campaigns create momentum, but above all, the touching stories and personal commitment of the donors made a difference.
One employee shared how her little son, as an infant, unexpectedly lost a lot of blood during surgery and was saved only thanks to the quick reaction of the doctors and two units of donated blood. For her, donating blood is a heartfelt matter.
Another employee brought his wife and child along. “I think this campaign is cool,” his partner told us. “When my husband asked me, it was obvious for me to join in.”
Even external service providers took notice: one of them seized the opportunity and spontaneously spent his lunch break lying at the needle. Many stories with one common theme: giving something that others urgently need.
Over the past years, we have donated 110 liters of blood and gained 87 new donors. SCHÖLLY says thank you to everyone who took part in the campaign.
