At the gala evening on May 5th at the John Deere Forum in Mannheim, our colleague Christian Ragg, as project leader on the SCHÖLLY side, presented the bionically inspired endoscope innovation together with the partners to a distinguished audience from research, business, and politics.
AddEndo stands for a flexible and controllable endoscope tip, which is manufactured using additive manufacturing processes and is inspired by natural growth processes. The bionic model: a snake skeleton – complemented by functional integration and structural optimization.
We thank all those involved for the strong partnership and the joint advancement of medical innovation.
A project that shows how much potential lies in interdisciplinary collaboration.
