What does this job involve?
Industrial Mechanics organize and monitor production processes and ensure that machines and manufacturing systems are operational. They assemble machines or entire production systems, install and network them, and put them into operation. If their focus is on production technology, they set up machines, modify them, and control manufacturing processes.

Their responsibilities also include maintaining and repairing equipment and technical systems. This involves selecting testing tools, identifying the causes of malfunctions, replacing defective or worn parts, inspecting bearings, and tightening screws. If necessary, they also manufacture replacement parts themselves using CNC machines.
At least a secondary school diploma (equivalent to GCSE or intermediate school-leaving certificate)
