What does this job involve?

Manufacturing Mechanics assemble various products—such as household appliances, motor vehicles, or medical devices—based on technical drawings and assembly plans. They join individual parts or pre-assembled components into machines, devices, or equipment using methods like screwing, soldering, or gluing. They ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and auxiliary supplies are available.


In addition, Manufacturing Mechanics lay and connect electrical wiring, secure it in place, and perform final checks to ensure that the assembled products function properly and meet company quality standards. They also take on maintenance and repair tasks and contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes in their area.

At least a secondary school diploma (equivalent to GCSE or intermediate school-leaving certificate)
