Mechatronics Technicians assemble complex mechatronic systems—such as industrial robots—using mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. They inspect individual parts and assemble them into complete systems and machines.

Once assembled, they commission the systems, program them, or install the necessary software. They follow circuit diagrams and technical drawings and thoroughly test the systems before handing them over to customers. They are also responsible for maintaining and repairing mechatronic systems.
