50 years of SCHÖLLY - half a century
The history of today's SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH, which was founded by Regula and Werner Schölly, began 50 years ago on February 5th, 1973. We celebrated this special anniversary on Monday with a small ceremony in fresh, but excellent weather.
At the start of our anniversary year, the workforce was invited to gather in the inner courtyard of our plants. Prof. Dr. Holger Reinecke opened the festivities with introductory words and paid tribute to the life's work of the Schölly family.
The company's history and its milestones were impressively presented in a video created especially for this event.
On behalf of the workforce, the works council handed Regula Schölly a book with personal words and anecdotes from the employees as a farewell.
At the end of the event, we hoisted our anniversary flags together, which will decorate our company premises this year.
