Bright and with high color rendering index (CRI)

In addition to the total cost of ownership, light intensity, CRI, lamp service life and noise and temperature development are important factors in the decision to purchase endoscopic light sources. Our FlexiLux 300 LED light source has two other special features: The patented auto light control and a multi-light guide connection.

Quality feature high color rendering index (CRI)

A CRI Ra value of >90 enables an endoscopic image to be produced with almost natural color rendition. For devices with lower CRI Ra values (~70), the color rendering on the image tends to be less saturated and somewhat distorted.

Neutral, realistic color rendering is an essential part of good image quality in endoscopic operations under white light.

Quality feature low noise level

Thanks to its sophisticated cooling design, the light source generates a noise level of just 25dB, which is virtually inaudible.

Multi-light guide adapter

Thanks to its included multi-light-guide adapter, the light source is compatible, without modification, with light guides manufactured by Storz, Wolf, and Olympus. If a light guide is not properly connected to the light source, this is indicated on the light source display.

Auto light control

The patented fully automatic light control takes place via the MIS bus interface with the FlexiVision 40 or FlexiVision 20 camera. It ensures that the light intensity setting in the application is optimally selected and controlled. In combination with the electronic light amplification function of the camera (gain), this gives the user the best possible image impression.
