Video processing and algorithms
Discover our capabilities in Video Processing and Video Algorithms
In video processing, system-related errors, such as pixel defects, can be corrected, and specific image areas can be emphasized. Supporting functions include edge enhancement, automatic gain control (AGC), and dynamic contrast function.
Selectable video algorithms aim to improve image quality and provide users with the best possible visualization in every application.
Color Shift 1 / 2
With Color Shift 1 / 2, the color representation of vessels and tissue structures is altered to enhance their visualization. The difference between Color Shift 1 and Color Shift 2 lies in the intensity of the effect.

Selective Color Enhancement (SCE)
With Selective Color Enhancement, the predominant color in the image can be intensified. This function can be used to better differentiate structures from one another in environments with little differences in color, for example, to accentuate the colors of vessels.

Smoke Reduction
The smoke reduction function ensures a clearer image in smoke-filled environments, as needed during coagulations with HF surgical devices. This function compensates a poor view due to smoke formation.

Grid Removal
Grid Removal reduces or removes the grid that is caused by the use of image bundle systems. This function suppresses interfering grids.
