Long-time employees honored at Schölly

Thomas Hilgendorf can look back on 40 years of service as a warehouse employee at Schölly Fiberoptic GmbH. He and ten long-serving employees were honored by the management on March 31, 2022.

It was the wish of the company founders Regula and Werner Schölly to assume social responsibility also for people with disabilities. This and the family business structures helped to integrate Thomas Hilgendorf into the work process. Over the years, he has carved out his own workspace and it's hard to imagine life there without him. "If you're not there, things don't run smoothly in the packing department," said Regula Schölly, honoring his commitment and the enthusiasm with which he is at work.

Furthermore, two employees were honored for 30 years, five employees for 25 years and three employees for 20 years. All of them had started working for Schölly in the first quarter of their respective years and have remained loyal to the company.

Prior to Corona, the company invited its jubilarians and a companion to a gala dinner and recognized their achievements in a festive setting. As soon as legal requirements allow, this tradition will be continued.
