A happy family celebration to celebrate 50 years of SCHÖLLY
The courtyard was transformed into a colorful festival area and around 600 guests, including more than 150 children, celebrated the company anniversary together and had a lot of fun with the varied program
An imaginative children's program was organized for the youngest guests. In the “Crazy Surgery” they were able to operate on mythical creatures endoscopically, demonstrate their technical skills in constructing a key ring or tea bag holder in the form of an endoscope on the CAD computer, enjoy various painting and sand stations or simply play around the yard with vehicles.
The celebration began with a champagne reception under a blue sky, followed by an official program in the marquee. Five decades of company history were told by different speakers in an entertaining journey through time.
Another item on the program was a speech by Anna Maria Braun, CEO of the B. Braun Group from Melsungen. She praised the achievements of the founding couple Regula and Werner Schölly. Her extraordinary feeling for people, her ability to grow the company in the long term and her ability to develop innovative products and successfully bring them to market.
The entrepreneurs Anna Maria Braun and Regula Schölly are united by supporting local associations and thus promoting the well-being of children and young people. Together with Claudia Schölly-Holubarsch, who represented her mother on stage, and Prof. Dr. Holger Reinecke handed Anna Maria Braun a check for €50,000 to Matthias Schubien, the first chairman of the Denzlingen gymnastics club. The donation was received with great joy. The money will be used to build a multi-purpose space that will benefit the community and especially children and young people.
After the official program, employees had the opportunity to take their families on a tour “From idea to product” through the company premises. There were a number of stations where it was clearly explained how a medical product is developed and produced. The modern 3D visualization could be seen for yourself in the demo operating room.
The festival day came to an end with a rich grill and cake buffet, plenty of time for conversation and many smiling faces.
It was a very successful family celebration. A big thank you came from many quarters and the words: “Such a lovely celebration”.
